ABOUT ME
Greetings. I am the Principal of Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans, VT. I am committed to making inquiry and passion-based learning the cornerstone of student-centered education. I believe students need to INQUIRE, RESEARCH, COLLABORATE, PUBLISH AND REFLECT.
For over a decade I was Principal of Fair Haven Union High, a school that earned Best High School Awards in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 (U.S News and World Report and Newsweek).
My athletic interests include long-distance skating, ultra marathons, endurance events and obstacle course racing.
Formerly a social studies teacher, I am passionate about the Viking Age and Medieval cathedrals. Fortunately, I am able to connect most of my passions with travel. When not with my family, running or skating, I prefer to be riding my Indian Chief.
